Save the Date: Matt Rife Takes the Stage at DECC in 2024

The next year, a well-known stand-up comedian will visit Duluth. During his “ProbleMATTic World Tour” the following year, the comedian and performer Matt Rife will make a visit in Duluth.

Through his viral videos and exceptional interaction on TikTok, where he has 13 million followers and more than two billion worldwide views, Rife has propelled himself into one of the fastest-growing comedians.

Rife, who is from a tiny town close to Columbus, Ohio, started performing at the age of 15, and two years later he moved to Los Angeles to start his career in Hollywood.

“I couldn’t be more thrilled to live out this lifelong dream. To tour the world, spreading laughter, with some of my best friends, is something I never thought would be possible. I’m so grateful to get this opportunity, and it’s even more fulfilling knowing that it’s all because of the incredible people who enjoy my comedy,” said Rife. “I’ve been working so hard towards this for 12 years and now I’ve surrounded myself with a team who works just as hard and share the same passion. I still can’t believe it.”

He made his television debut on MTV’s “Wild ‘N Out” as the youngest cast member in history for four seasons in addition to stand-up.

Rife later transitioned to other MTV ventures, including anchoring the revival of “TRL” and participating in “The Challenge.”

In addition, he has appeared on “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” “Fresh Off the Boat,” BET’s “North Of The 10,” and NBC’s comedy competition program “Bring The Funny.”
